Legacy Locs – Shipping, Processing & Store Policies

Order Processing — Ready-to-Ship Loc Extensions
Please allow 3–5 business days for order processing on pre-made, ready-to-ship loc extensions.
Shipping transit time begins after processing and varies based on the shipping method selected at checkout.
Processing Time — Custom Loc Extensions
Custom loc extensions are made to order and are not pre-made inventory.
- Please allow 4–8 weeks processing time

Each set is handmade and customized based on your selected:
- Length
- Width
- Color
- Specifications
Additional Time:
Specialty color work, shaping, or custom adjustments may require an additional 1–4 business days to ensure quality.
Processing — Bulk Hair, Accessories & Hair Care
Please allow 5–7 business days processing time after cleared payment for:
- Afro kinky bulk human hair
- Loc headwear & accessories
- Hair care products
Once your order is complete, tracking information will be emailed.
Domestic Shipping (U.S.)
All U.S. orders are shipped via USPS.
- Some packages may require a signature upon delivery
- Packages may not be released without a recipient present

- Weather
- Signature requirements
- Carrier disruptions
Important:
Economy and Standard shipping dates are estimates only.
Only Express, 2-Day, or Overnight services are guaranteed by the carrier.
Shipping Liability & Package Insurance Policy
Once an order has been processed and transferred to the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS), Legacy Locs is no longer responsible for the package.
- We are not affiliated with any shipping carrier
- We are not liable for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged packages once in transit
We strongly encourage customers to purchase package insurance at checkout, which provides:

100% reimbursement or replacement coverage for:
- Lost packages
- Stolen packages
- Damaged shipments
If package insurance is not selected:
- We are not responsible for refunds or replacements due to carrier issues
- We are unable to resend orders free of charge, as the original package may still arrive
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
International Shipping
Delivery times typically range from 1–4 weeks after shipment, depending on location and shipping method.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the shipping address is correct at checkout.
Buyers are solely responsible for:
- Customs fees
- VAT
- Import duties
- Local taxes
- Brokerage fees
These charges are not included in your order total and are not controlled by Legacy Locs.
Returns, Refunds & Store Credit
Due to the custom and hygienic nature of our products:
- We do not offer cash refunds
If cancelling an entire order:
- Items must be returned unused and unaltered
- After inspection, a Legacy Locs Gift Card will be issued
Important:
- Gift cards are redeemable at LegacyLocs.com only
- No partial order returns or exchanges
Shipping Responsibility:
- If no production error occurred → customer pays return shipping
- If we made an error → we provide a prepaid return label
Order Changes & Cancellations
- Orders begin processing within 24 hours
- Changes are not guaranteed after 48 hours
If changes are approved:
- Price increases → invoice must be paid
- Price decreases → issued as store credit
Cancellations during production:
- Remaining eligible balance issued as store gift card
- Completed production labor is non-refundable
Exchanges
- Exchange window: within 7 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and unaltered
- Maximum of 2 exchanges per order
- No partial exchanges allowed
Shipping Responsibility:
- No error → customer pays return shipping
- Our error → we cover return shipping
Exchange Fees May Apply For:
- Different widths or lengths
- Color processing or bleaching
- Custom remake requests
Fees may include:
- Hair sourcing
- Handmade labor
- Product processing
- Shipping & handling
Any remaining balance is issued as a Legacy Locs Gift Card.
